Kombornia Manor Vineyard

Kombornia Manor vineyard is located in a historic manor-park complex in Kombornia. Kombornia Manor is a manorial settlement, the history of which dates back to the 16th century. It is one of the best preserved residential complexes in Podkarpacie. Covering an area of 10 hectares, it houses a four-star boutique SPA Hotel with rich Wellness infrastructure, a Carpathian Wine Salon, a Conference and Banquet Center as well as a luxurious three-star Wine Garden Hotel.
A small, initially 5 acres vineyard was planted in 2012, on the eastern side of the manor, next to the picturesque ruins of a 16th century granary. The owners of the facility, Marzanna and Ryszard Skotniczny, have been interested in wine for a long time. When deciding to set up the vineyard, they had local winemaking traditions in mind. In the past, the manor cellars located by the Hungarian route were full of not only Hungarian wine. There are historical reports showing that the former owners of Kombornia were involved in the construction of the route itself, thanks to which wines from southern neighbors made their way to the tables of Polish kings and nobles. Currently the vineyard covers an area of 10 acres. At the beginning, the owners decided to plant reliable varieties: Rondo, Seyval Blanc, Jutrzenka and Solaris. In addition to processing varieties, they are also planning to plant dessert varieties. During culinary and tasting events, often combined with live music concerts, a special place is reserved for wines from other vineyards in Podkarpacie.

The Carpathian Wine Salon was arranged in an 18th century cellar of the manor complex Kombornia Manor, and a representative collection of carefully selected wines from various Carpathian wine regions can be found there. You can taste the best wines from Slovakia, Czech Republic, Hungary, Romania and Poland here. It is the only facility in Poland where the taste of so many Carpathian wines can be explored in the formula of temporary and commented tasting. In order to be served in the Salon, a wine must be recognised in its region or country of origin. Thanks to this, the visitors to the Carpathian Wine Salon can experience a true wine feast by tasting interesting, award-winning beverages. You can learn all about regional wines thanks to regularly organised commented tastings, themed tastings as well as workshops, courses and various wine events, during which information about specific types, flavours and wine aromas is presented. Discussions are held on the culture of drinking wine, on how to buy it and serve it and how to broaden the knowledge of Carpathian wine regions - not only of the best-known wineries but also those of which only a few know about.

Two restaurants invite you to taste diverse cuisine: a refined, elegant and award-winning Magnolia Restaurant and a Garden Restaurant that is facing the park. Magnolia Restaurant is the only restaurant in the area that uses flowers and fresh herbs grown in own gardens for dishes.

In ChocoWine SPA, the only chocolate and wine SPA in Poland, you can find a variety of treatments, based on natural, beneficial properties of grapes and chocolate, as well as world-class cosmetics. You can also experience blissful relaxation by visiting the Wellness Zone with a swimming pool complex, sauna complex and bath complex, a salt cave and a gym.
